The Part Time Daredevil

The second of the trio of TONIK health care options, The Part Time Daredevil, the $3,000, plan is specially geared toward providing reliable medical coverage for young uninsured adults who want to play hard but play it safe – or at least just a bit safer. The Part Time Daredevil is for healthy, young people who mistakenly believe that they can’t afford to enroll in a comprehensive health insurance plan.

TONIK’s Part-Time Daredevil comes with an annual $3,000 deductible and allows for four doctor office visits prior to the deductible’s onset.

Blue Cross of California’s Part Time Daredevil is a very affordable health insurance plan. Most Californian’s between the ages of nineteen and twenty-nine will wind up paying around $87 per month for their coverage.

TONIK’s Part-Time Daredevil includes:

• Up to four doctor’s office visits each year at a $30 per visit co-payment when using a Blue Cross preferred provider.
• Generic prescription medication for a $10 co-payment per prescription.
• $3,000 annual deductible and annual out of pocket maximum, meaning that "if you have coverage and stay within (the Blue Cross of California) network, the most you can have to pay is $3,000 along with your monthly payment."
• $100 co-payment for emergency room visits.
• Pay $0 Inpatient hospital stay after plan deductible has been met.
• $25 Dental benefits deductible covering cleanings, x-rays and exams for $0 as well as fillings for 20%
• $50 reimbursement for in network routine eye examinations, glasses and or contact lenses.

Note: This TONIK Plan does not include an option for maternity coverage. So, Thrill Seekers considering parenthood will need to look into alternative BCBS health insurance opportunities.
